Built by Roberts and Hoare, this magnificent Shingle Style cottage, sited on the highest point of land on Smith’s Point, overlooks Manchester Harbor and Long Beach. It was completely renovated to accommodate the needs of a large family.

This image shows numerous additions to the original building. The addition of an enclosed porch met the family’s requirements for a larger living room.

A new gable and balcony provided additional space for the master bedroom and a major addition was added to accommodate a new kitchen and family room. These new additions replaced an inappropriately austere contemporary façade.
